Christopher Eaker is a Spiritual Companion and has a Graduate Certificate in Spiritual Direction from Richmont Graduate University. He offers Spiritual Companionship in person (in the Knoxville, TN, area) and online. Christopher's style of Spiritual Companionship is contemplative and reflective and includes listening prayer and imaginative prayer.

Christopher believes God is at work in everyone's lives whether they know it or not. Spiritual Companionship is a great way to discern that work in your life. Christopher's spirituality has been heavily influenced by the work of Henri Nouwen, Dr. Brad Jersak, Richard Rohr, and St. Ignatius of Loyola. His favorite spiritual disciplines are silence and solitude, contemplative prayer, the Examen prayer, and lectio divina.

Christopher's spiritual journey started in the Southern Baptist Church where he was baptized as a child and was his spiritual home for over 30 years. Then he spent 8 years in a small house church setting which was his favorite church setting of all. The house church taught him how to listen to the Holy Spirit and be himself in an intimate family setting. Then spending almost three years in the Anglican Church taught Christopher about the importance of spiritual formation through the lives of the Saints and the Church fathers and mothers.

Christopher has a background in civil engineering and currently works as an academic librarian.
